Jude and Paul McEwen met in Royal Tunbridge Wells Kent England five years ago, when their eyes meet over the salon floor of TONI&GUY. Their romance, only able to be kept a secret in the salon for a few weeks, resulted in a beautiful wedding 18 months later, where the hair of the guests and wedding party were the focus of the day.

Destined to be a driving force together in the hairdressing world they have followed their dreams of immigrating to Australia and becoming Salon owners.

First falling in love with the country while travelling, they relocated to Sydney in 2007. Having been with the company for over fifteen years each they have gone from strength to strength, sharing the management of running salons in England and Australia. However when the opportunity arose to achieve this great dream, it was perfect timing and a relocation to sunny Perth was in order.

Judith’s love of fashion and obsession with accessories threatens the expansion of their living arrangements as a mountain of handbags takes over their house. Whilst for Paul, turning thirty may have been the end of his aspiration to play professional soccer, he still supports his beloved Spurs and can talk the ear off anyone about most other sports.

I am an amazing 18 years into my journey with TONI&GUY, so I do consider myself part of the family. To think that my main reason for starting hairdressing was to meet girls, it seems quite ironic that I now own one with my wife.
I have had the most amazing journey and there is nothing that makes me prouder than to walk into our beautiful salon and see what we have built.
Last year we went back to England and spent some time at the TONI&GUY Academy in London, I always feel that creativity and love to use the latest techniques here in our shop.

Hairdressing, It is my passion and my career. It is my first memory of doing something I was really good at!
I have never struggled for conversation. In fact, it is a challenge to get me to shut up! The idea that I could get paid to talk while making people feel better about them selves was amazing.
The salon is now in it’s third year and we have seen both the clientele and business grow. I think it remains my passion for hair and pushing boundaries that keeps us all motivated.
It was a privilege to have been nominated as a finalist for W/A Hairdresser of the year in 2011 in the Australian awards, I am very proud of this achievement. It would not have been possible with out the support of our wonderful team.

I've been currently working for TONI&GUY for 8 years, i have just recently returned home after working for TONI&GUY London for 2 years. I was fortunate to be involved in fashion shows, session styling and photo shoots with TONI&GUY London. Since returning to TONI&GUY Perth Central i have been involved with more fashion work with Gucci, Karen Millen, Armani and Lisa Ho. I have been given so many great opportunities to travel and educate our assistants in styling training with the company.

I have been working for TONI&GUY since 1997, starting my Varder at London Academy before seeking full time employment at TONI&GUY Chiswick where i was based for 12 years before returning back to Australia with my partner and children. I have been working part time at TONI&GUY Perth for the last 18 months where i have been assisting fashion shows and photo shoots. Working for the company has given me great opportunities to travel and build a great friendship all around the world with clients and staff.

I have been working for TONI&GUY for 9 years starting at TONI&GUY Solihull working my way up from assistant to senior technician. During this time i passed my vardering at Manchester academy with distinction. I have been fortunate enough to be able to work across the world with TONI&GUY including Kuwait in the Middle East before moving with my wife to Australia last year. I recently moved to Perth Central from TONI&GUY Paddington and im really enjoying working here and everything Perth has to offer.

I have worked for TONI&GUY for many years and love the atmosphere of the salon and the people. I now balance working freelance as a Make up Artist and Hairdresser, for magazines such as Grazia with work at Chanel 7 but I really enjoy coming back to the salon. I have worked for TONI&GUY for 9 years starting my varder at Manchester Academy where i achieved my colour specialist degree. My partner and i immigrated to Australia in 2010. I have received some great opportunities working for TONI&GUY Perth Central working back stage at Sydney Mainstage 2010, assisting photo shoots and fashion shows. I'm very privileged to be educating our assistants in technical training and gaining constant education and training from our artistic art team in Perth.

Receptionist/Salon Coordinator

I have been with the company for 9 years working my way up from assistant to senior technician, where i was given the opportunity to work on fashion shows, session styling and photo shoots in Australia and abroad. I have been fortunate enough to travel the world with the company working with TONI&GUY Covent Garden as salon coordinator before returning home to Australia. I have been back at TONI&GUY Perth Central for 13 months as Reception/Salon coordinator. At Perth Central my job role is to coordinate the salons Weddings/Marketing/Fashion parades/Weddings so please don't hesitate to contact me at the salon.

I have been hairdressing for 21 years, starting with TONI&GUY Singapore in 2002 before immigrating to Australia with my son in 2005. I have worked with TONI&GUY Perth Central for the last 4 years.
