More than just a new logo, our job was to contemporise the college, building a brand for the future by highlighting its history.

THE STORY

"Commercial Arts Training College" was founded in 1983 and has 4 campuses nationwide. It is one of the largest colleges for Design in Australia, despite this, it had little sense of history. There was no strong relationships with the design industry, no formal alumni and there was no cross campus interaction.

WE CREATED A HISTORY, BECAUSE THEY HAD ONE.

Taking elements from the past and using them in a modern way was the foundation of the new look, the brand has been designed to evolve as the people within it, trends and the industry evolve too.

The new branding focuses on the school's pillars of individuality, equality, creativity and movement. Signified through the use of the circular device which accompanies the name.
